Veda Hille

Another recommendation from the Ecto list has forced me to spend yet another 14 of my hard earned dollars on a new artist.  Her name is Veda Hille.  She was born on November 8th, 1968 in Vancouver, Canada.

I would describer her music as...odd.  At first it was a little hard to get used to.  It's a little dissonent and it goes places you don't expect, which I find very refreshing.  After about 3 listens to the CD I just can't get anough of it.  As I begin to recognize the songs and all thier intracacies, I am more smitten.

Some describe her as a cross between Ani DiFranco and PJ Harvey.
