Pepper McGowan

"A self taught pianist by age three, Pepper McGowan's work draws from the torch songs of the Jazz Age as well as from the music of her contemporaries.
Her life as a musician began early, writing her first songs at eight, and playing on both coasts by twenty.
In the summer of 1998, she released an 8 song EP, MARROW, under her maiden name, Pepper Acton, on Cleveland's Sound of the Sea label.
McGowan's second CD is currently in the early recording stages, and will be released on her own label, Banished Ham Records, later this fall. She is planning a string of East Coast and Midwest tour dates in support of both disks."
