Lisa Brigantino
Singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist Lisa Brigantino
takes an eclectic approach to writing, including
elements of folk, blue, rock, pop and more in her songs.
A musician since childhood and a trained composer with a
master of music in composition from SUNY Fredonia, Lisa
currently lives in Brooklyn, NY and performs her
original music on a regular basis in the Tri-State area
with guitarist and husband, Tomi Millioto. Lisa's CD
release "A Brooklyn Night" is receiving great reviews
and radio airplay both domestically and
internationally. "Great songs, impeccable musicianship,"
says MeDIa DAMaGe. "Harmonious, melodic, smooth,
bluesy, funky, rootsy all these describe the music of
Lisa Brigantino," says Pull Press.
Lisa has been requested to perform her songs in various
New York City singer/songwriter showcases for
organizations like The Songwriters Guild of America,
BMI, Women In Music, Inc., The Uptown Songwriters Hang,
The Marmalade Jam. She was also a finalist in a New York
Singer/Songwriter contest sponsored by Fast Folk
Magazine and was selected to perform during the annual
New York City Peekaboo Festival of New Music and
Theatre. Lisa is a member of BMI, NARAS, The
Songwriters Guild of America, The National Academy of
Popular Music, and is an officer (secretary) on the
Board of Directors of Women In Music, Inc. She is also a
co-editor and contributing writer for Women In Music,
Inc.’s magazine, WIM.
