Kathi Burg Band

The Kathi Burg Band has an acoustic/rock sound created by lyricist/vocalist Kathi Burg, guitarist Johnny Suzanno and bassist Tim Burg. The band's music reflects the struggles in the world they see around them and the hope they see alive in the human spirit. Kathi's emotion-filled, soulful vocal style carries the band's message to the hearts of their listeners. Out of live performances come some of the band's best musical creations; improvisation is their thing and writing comes naturally.

"But A Season", from the band's debut album, All Those Things Thought On and Hoped For (1999), rose to No. 10 on mp3.com's acoustic music charts with "Susan" close behind. A second self-titled acoustic album followed in 2001, delivering a bare-bone, intimate listen.

The band is currently working on its third album, scheduled for release this spring.
