Jane Wright

A strong new voice, with captivating original songs and a stunning and sultry presence, Jane Wright is a singer/songwriter/producer based in Portland, Oregon. With her band or solo, Jane Wright writes and sings southern blues-based rock. She has emerged to glowing critical acclaim and music critics have described Jane as "having a quality that one finds in a seasoned professional."

Jane Wright is a native of Auburn, Alabama, but has adopted Portland and found it to be a great place to make music. Jane's singing and playing style comes straight out of her experiences of growing up in the south with the sounds of soul, jazz and church music going on all around her. Although her formal training was in classical, band and choral music, Jane has always been drawn to music that, to her, imbued a strong sense of soul.
