Emaline Delapaix

Lush melodies are Emaline's specialty.
A self taught singer and songwriter, she writes most of her songs on the piano and guitar blending many genres such as folk, pop, classical and alternative with a little country and blues thrown in for good measure.

Emaline is a singer songwriter who possesses the unique talent of being able to blend truly beautiful vocals with lush fiery melodies and merging many genres of music to create her own delicious sound. With the help of her all female co-conspirators, she has spent the last year delighting and amusing audiences in Canada, USA and Australia incorporating such diverse instruments into their live set as piano, violin, viola, guitar, accordion, clarinet, percussion, trumpet and bass.

Currently working with a programmer from London, Emaline is about to release her debut 'solo' single Slow Down; an ultra lush piano lullaby layered with strings, acoustic guitar and shimmering loops and beats. This 5 track single will be available from March 2002 and will be promoted by her second tour of Canada and The USA from August - October 2002.
