Day Ten:
Oh Reginka. I first heard her when my Collected Sounds collaborator, Anna Maria reviewed this album. I was intrigued and bought it at CDBaby. I loved it and became a fan immediately.
Regina and I exchanged some emails for a little while. We talked about her coming to Minnesota to do a house concert (can you IMAGINE?!) and she sent me a copy of Soviet Kitsch that she made on her computer before it was released (I treasure it—though I can’t recall where I put it now that I think of it).
Then she got famous and I knew a house concert would never happen. Alas, I love her and all her music.
I know this is makes ten albums, but I have more that I want to share so I'l do that in my next post. All in one.
