Years ago, many years ago a young artist named Audra Kubat sent me her record for review for Collected Sounds. I fell in love with her music within moments of listening. I played that CD thin. Then I found some of her older stuff with a band and I devoured that as well. Then she disappeared. Her website was gone, email returned, etc. Then a few years later she resurfaced with new music and I snapped that up and enjoyed it. Then a disappearance again.
Well, she’s back. And she’s trying to raise money to record a new album.
