Hello everyone.

Hey everyone! Sorry this is a tad late. We have had no Internet here at Chez Old House with Crazy Wiring so I was unable to get this out when I wanted to.

Where did the summer go? I can hardly believe that it's almost over. Though I'm one of those strange people who is not at all sad to see summer coming to an end. It's actually my least favorite season. Yes, including winter. I actually like winter (except for he driving on icy streets and shoveling snow part). But summer is just too hot! I'm looking forward to the days where I can finally be comfortable again and breathe without feeling like I have a vice around my lungs. I should live in an igloo.

But I know that some of you actually like summer so for you I'm sorry that it's coming to a close.

I have some very exciting news (in the house concert section).

Artist Spotlight of the Month

Our spotlight of the month is Sophie Moleta. Sophie was a YouTube find. Someone suggested I watch her video for a song called Te-Atawhai (that's the name of a little girl she once knew). I loved it, the video and the song. So I contacted her people and once her record came out I got a copy for review. It's really good. I think many of you will like her as well.

I know I said that the Beth Amsel show would be the last one I would have. I believe I also said unless Sarah McLachlan, Ani DiFranco or Dar Williams calls, I am not booking any more. Well, I should have added one more name to that short list because I did change my mind when the opportunity to host…VIENNA TENG came around. Yes, that's right. After 7 years of trying and waiting, we are finally hosting Vienna!!! I am so excited I can hardly stand it. Please come you will not be disappointed. She's funny, smart and an amazing musician. Seriously.
