What's New on Collected Sounds
May 2005

News

Here's what is new on Collected Sounds for the month of May, 2005

I noticed my April newsletter mentioned that it was 70 and sunny. Well, here we are one month LATER and it was 32 degrees this AM and snowing! Snowing! In May! WTF??

Enough of the weather report...site news, I decided to move my news section, otherwise known as Amy's Corner. So you can now find that here: Amy's Corner. It looks a little different but will be the same in content (which I never updated as much as I should have...maybe this will change that). The other nice thing is that you can comment. So I hope to hear from each and every one of you ;)

Also be sure to check out our Forums (Message Boards) Collected Sounds Community

Thanks for visiting...enjoy May!

House Concerts

Rachael Sage - Rachael played her second show here at Collected Sounds in April and it was at least as fun as the first time. I had inteneded to have photos up by now but time got away from me. So instead of sending this newsletter late I thought I'd jsut mention that they'll be up soon and to check back periodically.

Chris Pureka - This show is on Sunday! So by the next newsletter I ought to have photos from both shows up.
For more info check out: [Chris' show page]

Beth Amsel June 10, 2005. I am so exited to have her back. [Beth's show page]

Note: I am no longer using Evite so the reservation form is now on the site and it can be found here:[Click Here]

To keep updated on shows as they become confirmed, please subscribe to the house concerts announcement list by sending a blank email to; subscribe-houseconcerts@collectedsounds.com

...as usual... I am still asking for visitors to submit CD or concert reviews for the site. It doesn't even have to be a performer that I spotlight, just one that you like. A few requirements are that the women featured must be "total artists" and by that I mean they must write their own music. Not necessarily ALL their own, collaborations are fine and a few covers are fine, but primarily their music must be their own. So if there is a CD that you just can't seem to get out of your CD player or a show that you can't stop raving about, please write up a little something and send it to me

Thanks for your support. Please keep visiting and sending me your suggestions, requests, etc...
