News Here's what is new on Collected Sounds for the month of July, 2004 Hope all is well with all of you! Well, we finally sold out house. In fact, the "SOLD" sign just went up yesterday. I want to say a big howdy and thanks to our realtor team of Jennifer and Malinda who did an amazing job to make this dream come true. We really appreciate it. And if any of you are looking for a realtor you can't go wrong with these ladies. Check out Malinda's website Malinda Launert.com They're the best! What this means is that we now have a 30+ foot long living room in which to host the best house concerts in the state. So I'm gearing up to get some great artists in here for your enjoyment. Please conact me with any suggestions...reasonable ones, mind you. I can't get Ani DiFranco or Sarah McLachlan...not yet. Collected Sounds friend Jennifer Marks has had a great month. She's on the road opening for none other than everyone's
favorite unusual girl, Cyndi Lauper!

It doesn't even have to be a performer that I spotlight, just one that you like. A few requirements are that the women featured must be "total artists" and by that I mean they must write their own music. Not necessarily ALL their own, collaborations are fine and a few covers are fine, but primarily their music must be their own. So if there is a CD that you just can't seem to get out of your CD player or a show that you can't stop raving about, please write up a little something and send it to me Thanks for your support.
