Here's what is new on Collected Sounds for the month of December, 2005
Hi Everyone! Welcome to the last newsletter of 2005. Wow this year flew for me. I guess that happens when you get older, huh?
November was a busy month with my "real" life, so I didn't get to as many reviews and other updates as I would have liked, but I'm trying to make up for it. So thank goodness I have Anna Maria and my other contributors or this would have been a really slow month!
I still have not gotten the PodCast up and running. I need to get permission to play the songs of the artists and so far have gotten only TWO responses back. So that means my "radio" show will be those two artists only, or I have to start finding some legal downloads to use. Hopefully one or the other will happen soon.
Be sure to check out our NEW Forums (Message Boards) Collected Sounds Community
I have upgraded to the new software and made some other changes. The upgrade also means the URL changes, so if you have the old one in your browser,
now is a good time to visit and switch it.
Also, come join Collected Sounds On My Space.
Thanks for visiting...enjoy December!

Upcoming Shows
Jodi ShawOur upcoming show features Jodi Shaw. She's a Canadian-born singer/songwriter, currently living in New York. But Jodi just got back from a three month tour in Europe so I'm sure she'll have lots of great stories to tell.

After this next show, I'm taking a break from hosting shows until March of 2006. I guess I just am having too hard of a time getting people to come. I realize everyone has lives and things to do, but I was hoping that my fellow music lovers would make supporting these a priority and that doesn't seem to be the case. With over 100 people on the mailing list, I am still lucky to get 10 to attend. It's just not worth it for the musicians anymore. Which is a shame because I have a lot of artist who want to play here whom I would love to host. That, and we just got a new piano and new PA system.
So I'm trying to retool the whole thing. If any of you have any experience with this, or have any suggestions for me I would love to hear them. Just respond to this email and I'll get it.

She was amazing. She gets better everytime I see her. She played at Rossi's Blue Star Lounge which was a gorgeous place. With really good food.
Remember if any of you go to shows, you can always
write up a little review and shoot it off to me! I'll post it!
