What's New on Collected Sounds
April 2006

News

Here's what is new on Collected Sounds for the month of April 2006

Be sure to check out our Forums (Message Boards) Collected Sounds Community

Thanks for visiting...enjoy April!

We had a record month here at Collected Sounds. In checking my stats yesterday I saw we had over 60,000 visitors! That's not hits mind you, hits was over 620,000. But that doesn't mean nearly as much as knowing that sixty thousand people came to the site (or 2 people came 30 thousand times, but I doubt that's the case). So cool, we're growing!

Please come check out the new blog: http://www.blog.collectedsounds.com/ I've done some redecorating to make it look more like the rest of the site. I had no idea what I was doing but it seemed to work so I'm not going to question it.

House Concerts

Upcoming Shows

I have four upcoming shows. They are:

Pamela Means on April 22, 2006.

Gregory Douglass on June 17, 2006.

Edie Carey (with special guest Brianna Lane) on July 22, 2006

To RSVP for any of these shows click on the link of the show you're interested in and follow the directions, or just respond to this email.

We had a great show on March 25th featuring Brianna Lane and Julie Loyd. This was our largest show in years. We had over 30 people attending. Thank you to all of you who came out and supported these wonderful artists and this series. We'd hosted Julie last year and she was great. I'd never seen Brianna live before but really like her record, "Radiator" (I reviewed it HERE). So it was great to see her live. She was fantastic and made a lot of new fans. This turns out great, because Brianna has just been added as an opener for our show on July 22nd featuring Edie Carey.

Check back in a few days (ahem, weeks) for photos.

Last Friday I went to Gingko Coffee shop to see Rachael Sage and Pamela Means. I was anxious to see Pamela because she is our next featured artist (April 22) and holy cats, that woman is amazing! My brain was buzzing just watching her play. So if you're able, go see her if she comes through your town. She won't disappoint.
