Chris Pureka

Chris Pureka along with fiddle player/back up singer, Merrill "mapquest" Garbus, performed a fantastic show at the home of Collected Sounds. (they call her MapQuest becaue she loves to study maps, but they said, at least they haven't gotten lost!)

They weren't even plugged in yet still filled the house with their wonderful sounds. CHris' voice is as mesmerizing in person (maybe even more so). And her skill on the guitar is mind blowing. Her fingers went so fast at times they were a blur.

If you ever get a chance to see Chris play live, jump at it. I hope we can her back to Minneapolis again.
