Time Spent Lost by Katie Sawicki

I've reviewed Katie Sawicki's music before and have always enjoyed it. I've consistently been impressed with her knack for writing good lyrics. After re-reading my reviews I see that I have liked each of her releases better than the last. I'd say that trend follows here too.

Her voice has a wonderful homey folky quality that is a perfect blend for the music.

Tuesday is kind of rock-ish and is a good way to start the record.

Hanging On kind of breaks my heart:

"I will be the first to bow out of this it you tell me now it's over.
Cause I couldn't tell last night"

The songs are well written with interesting melodies and again, fantastic lyrics. This is a great folk record.
