a Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell
Victoria BB’s debut is as good as first albums gets.
She has a good voice and writes strong songs.
“You Suffocate Me” is a powerful ballad, the lyrics speak of a troubled relationship and should make it easy to relate to.
The title track is a declaration of love with a warm melody. The catchy chorus builds to anthemic heights.
“I Need Your Love” sounds very seventies in its arrangement. There’s a little of Carole King soft rock vibe in there.
“Memories” has a simple but effective melody and a sweet lyric.
A cover of “Feel Like Makin’ Love” closes the album confidently.
Victoria BB is a name to remember.
