Seventh and Trade Clare Fader and the Vaudevillains "Seventh and Trade"
by Clare Fader and the Vaudevillains

a Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Ah, wonderful. Clare Fader and her Vaudevillains return after the great debut "Elephant"s Baby". Their music is cabaret with some other tasty stuff mixed in.

From the vivacious opener "Catch of the Day" onward it's a great record.

"Only the Neighbours Know" is a witty, satirical song with a jazzy arrangement.

"Libertango" By Astor Piazolla is familiar to some of us from Grace Jones" version. Fader puts a delightful new spin on it.

"The Good Time Girl" is a sweet little song with some carefree singing by Fader and a lovely melody.

"Big Bang Theory Man" is a nicely humorous tale with a real sting to it.

"Seventh and Trade" is a great album.
