a Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell
Marsha Swanson follows an interesting debut with a confident follow up. Her songs are more complex and rewarding this time around.
The title song includes some real stardust.
“Impasse” is delicate and sweet, a simple backdrop behind the vocals.
“Alice the Palace” is moving and moves into Kate Bush territory. Swanson’s ambitions have clearly paid off.
“The fall of madam M” alludes to a track on the previous album and is gently sad.
Marsha Swanson’s new album is a delight through and through.
