a Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell
Eleisha Eagle's ep was very nice, before it she recorded this debut album. The singer had all her gifts then too.
"Better Suited" tells of a lost friend, Eagle making the pain of loss palpable and playing her piano well.
"Taking My time" is a sensitive ballad, with some great harmonies.
"Catholic School Girl" is a wry and insightful song about growing up.
"Darla" has a great arrangement, and the choral parts are handled well.
Eagle and her band almost get a Queen-style pomp with them. This debut was brilliant.
