a Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell
Tara Fuki are two young women from the Czech Republic,
Andrea Konstankiewicz and Dorota Blahutova. Both play
the cello and sing. This makes for an original sound,
although there is a resemblance to the music of Iva
Bittova and Canada's Jorane.
"Posenka" sees the gifted duo play a subdued melody
and sing quite beautifully.
"Noce zte" has a sad feel and a lovely lead vocal. The
cellos weave an intricate melody pattern.
"Pada" has frantic shifts of pace and a carefully
delivered vocal.
Tara Fuki's music is unique and this record is a real
work of art.
