a Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell
Tiff Jimber's a piano-playing singer and she's got a talent for writing unusual songs.
"You Were Always There" is a catchy yet thoughtful song.
"Doin' Fine" sounds sweet but holds dark words. Jimber's vocal dances close to Tanya Donnelly's soft coo.
"Amanda" is another fine song with sad words.
"Watch Me Drown" has a strong lyric of hope in the face of adversity. Jimber plays her piano beautifully here.
"Gone" ends her album on a powerful note. She sings like a more soulful Vanessa Carlton or a sister to Tori Amos, but mostly like herself. It's a lovely record.
