Hera comes from Iceland and makes sparkly indiepop. Her latest record is sung in English and shows her talent for writing individual songs.
"Naughts and Crosses" is a sweet, folk-flavoured tune. Hera's singing is strong here.
"4Bidden Fruit" is a melancholy song about a young girl's death. Hera sings it with great compassion.
"Itchy Palms" echoes early Jewel in its simple setting and delicacy.
"Sleepyhead" is a beautiful song with quirky, alluring lyrics.
"Suffer from You" has Hera singing of a troubled relationship in an insightful way.
"Not Your Type" will appeal to many despite the title.
