No Nations, No Peoples by Arthur Loves Plastic "No Nations, No Peoples"
by Arthur Loves Plastic

a Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Bev Stanton's project Arthur Loves Plastic has released several CDs. Her music is dance oriented and mostly instrumental, although some tracks have vocals by folk singer Lisa Moscatiello. The music on this CD is complexly layered and rhythmically pleasing all at once. "Bang Bang" is a great chill-out track.

"Mudslide" floats by dreamily and uses Moscatiello's silky vocals beautifully.

The Asian tinged "Now more Than Ever" is another good track.

"Trust" is coolly detached with ghostly vocals by Margie Perez.

Bev Stanton"s skills at making evocative music rivals that of many better known names. This is dance music that seems equally at home on the dance floor as it does in your house.
