a Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell
Danish electro pop trip Tiger Baby seem like a cool proposition on their new album. They draw influences from Saint Etienne and Ladytron amongst others.
Their cover of Depeche Mode's "Strangelove"(not included here sadly) got them some attention in Denmark.
"Girlfriend" is classic synth topped with Pernille Pang's delectable vocals.
"Parkova" is a fine combination of melancholy singing and up tempo beats.
"At Least I'm Honest" is maddeningly catchy and lovely. Saint Etienne would be proud of it.
"Bosphouous Bridge" is an experiment that recalls Ladytron, the spoken bits and the vocodered voice are neatly done.
Tiger Baby have made a very nice album.
