"Music To Start A Cult To"
by Gram Rabbit

a Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

Gram Rabbit claim to have something to do with a cult called Royal Order of the Rabbits, but it's probably just an elaborate joke. They sound pretty special, rabbits or not.

"Dirty Horse" is a spaced-out cowboy epic that has Jesika Von Rabit and Todd Rutherford duetting nicely.

Jesika purrs ever so sweetly on the techno-ish "Cowboy-Up". It's got shades of Alabama

"Kill a Man" is sun-dazed Americana with a psychotic lyric. Rutherford takes the lead while Jesika offers support.

"Witness" takes a detour to the chill-out room in fluffy pop fashion allowing Jesika's vampish voice full reign.

"Devil's Playground" has a slight resemblance to Tanya Donelly vocally, but its psychedelic wooziness is all its own.

This is a weird sort of a record, but it's also very good.
