In This Old House by Beth Williams "In This Old House"
by Beth Williams

a Review by Amy Lotsberg Producer of Collected Sounds

"In This Old House" is Beth Williams' third CD. It has a country-ish, Americana feel to it. I'm normally not a huge fan of this type of this music, but I enjoy this CD. Beth's voice has a good country sound without being too twangy. I've realized that I like this CD more each time I listen to it.

Beth begins with "Now" which has an uplifting message about finding happiness and a catchy tune to match.

I love the guitar in the beginning of "In This Old House". This is a good track.

"Ruby and John" is probably my favorite track. Beth's voice shines and it's very melodic and catchy. If I heard this on the radio it would make me want to purchase the CD.

"The Girl" also stands out to me because of the melody that is different and the distorted vocals are a nice touch.

If you like Americana with a slightly spiritual touch this CD is for you.
