a Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell
Amy Fox builds on the strong foundation of her debut
album "Public Offering" with this second record.
Her powerhouse vocals and dynamic musicianship elevate
her beyond the commonplace.
The track "Undertow" shows it wont be an ordinary
album. Fox sings as if her life depends on it and
hammers frantically on her piano.
Even when the pace is slower there's enough
electricity to make the air crackle.
Amy Fox's soulful intensity and obvious intelligence
makes her album a fabulous listen. The elaborate
musical puzzle "Arms of a Melody" sees Fox weave many
of her favourite songs into a lyric.
It's a fitting end to an intoxicating experience.
