Diana Senechal has more than her share of mystery on
this debut. Her aloof vocals recalls Nico and the
minimalistic music suits it fine. Senechal's
soundscapes are nocturnal and sometimes frightening in
their calm. You can sense danger under the blank
surface at all times. This music could soundtrack the
next David Cronenberg film. The director would surely
appreciate its eerie mood.
