 "Facettes"
by Eilera

a Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell

The French duo Eilera consist of Eilera and Loic Tezenas. Their music is a mix of an intriguing mix of Eilera's Sinead-ish lead vocals and folk and metal.

"Strength of My Hate" is atmospheric, like a softer Nightwish. Eilera's voice soars above a distinctive rhythm.

"Never Ending Tale" is a darker version of Clannad's Celtic sound. The grand sweep is suitable for a soundtrack.

The ballad "Inside My Cave" puts the emphasis on Eilera's lovely voice.

The techno strains of "Girl/woman" brings Björk to mind.

"Uncomprehension" is unashamedly epic. Eilera's angelic vocals take off in spectacular fashion.

"Facettes" is a brilliant debut from a band that should be going places.
