 "Dreamers Everywhere"
by Kathryn Mostow

a Review by Amy Producer of Collected Sounds

This album just says beautiful all over it.

The packing? Check (classy)
Photos? Check (Kathryn Mostow looks so joyous)
Voice? Check (soothing and pleasing)
Melodies? Check (catchy and comfortable)
Lyrics? Check (clever and thougful)

All beautiful.

The genre could be called acoustic pop with folky edges. There is one blues song. Does it count as a blues song if it's an ode to peanut butter? Sure it does.

As I mentioned, Kathryn Mostow has a voice that sounds effortless (though, as a singer, I know it's not). She has a great lilt that is so uplifting.

Actually uplifting is another way to describe this recording. It's got a very sunny disposition. She songs just make you sit up a little straighter and smile. They cover some heavy topics but with such grace and hopefulness.

This is a CD to put in when you need a good pep talk. Though it's just as pleasing when you're already emotionally OK.

Stand out Songs: "Promise of Spring", "Hello World" (lovely harmonies), Freedom (love the message).
