a Review by Anna Maria Stjärnell
Gram Rabbit's debut album was a fetching collection of songs, this sophomore album is great as well. Jesika von Rabbit is a marvelous frontperson and the music's a neat mix of influences.
Opener "Waiting in the Kountry" is psychedelia and country happily coexisting.
"Bloody Bunnies(Superficiality)" is very hummable, giddy disco. Jesika sings like an amped-up Gwen Stefani.
"Angel Song" sees guitarist Todd Rutherford taking the lead vocal nicely. It's a classic Lee Hazlewood-style ballad and its spooky harmonies make it even better.
"Slopoke" is sun-dazed country with an alluring vocal. Gram Rabbit's way of crossbreeding styles works fabulously well and their album is very intriguing.
