a Review by Amy - Producer of Collected Sounds

These are fun, funky songs which are a tad heavy on the organ/synthesizer but her voice shines through it. Also the songs are much more mature and intricate than your typical dance music. They're filled with lush orchestration and soaring vocals.

The songs do have a bit of a dance beat to them but I wouldn't go so far as to call it actual dance music. Just energetic pop or electronica.

"I Tried to Reach You" has a bit of an ethereal sound to it. Lots of orchestrations and backing vocals harmonizing together with the lead vocal (all of it Sarah). Very pretty song.

"Onlyone" is probably my favorite. The combination of the piano and the saxophone makes the song both sexy and romantic. Her voice sounds great on this one too.

The songs are well written and, though a little heavy on the production, are a fun listen. They range from dance to pretty ballad (with a beat). Just for fun I would like to hear some of these songs a little more raw. But they're nice the way they are. If you like piano/keys/electronica and strong pretty vocals this is a good choice.
