Arrica Rose's husky voice immediately comes in focus on the opening song "Words Away". It's a deliciously sweet gem in the vein of Cowboy Junkies or Mazzy Star.
"Everything seems greener" is haunting and evocative. Rose sings her sad lyric with conviction.
"The Cigarette Song" is another hardly happy but gently stirring song that ends the ep on a good note.
It's a lovely thing.
