"Abileen" by Abileen

Lead singer Heidi Phillips has an interesting voice. It's a little smoky. Perfect for this genre, which I would say, is more on the rock side than the pop. This is good strong alt.rock done very well.

This is really quite unique, there aren't a lot of other bands that sounds even remotely similar to Abileen. It's great to hear something different! Too bad the CD not a little longer.

All six songs are very strong, but I think "House of Gold" is my favorite.
